CONCEPT
Married at First Sight offers a marriage program for single volunteers, whom the channel pairs under the watchful eye of two experts using an algorithm. Without ever seeing each other, the candidates choose from hundreds of criteria before agreeing to meet and marry. The two strangers, and their families, will only meet on their wedding day. If they say “I do,” and after several weeks together, they will decide whether to continue their marriage or divorce.
In this new season, the singles will challenge experts Marie Tapernoux and Estelle Dossin, who will accommodate the craziest requests: saying “I do” in Gibraltar without seeing each other, marrying a man or a woman, and also the return of Clémence, a disappointed contestant from season 8 who made a lasting impression. There will also be twists and turns, as the experts will have to deal with an exceptional situation: the cancellation of a wedding on the very day of the ceremony. This season, you can experience it as if you were there: at several weddings, you will only see one of the bride and groom at first glance.
