ISLAMIST IN PRISON: THE PROPHETS IN THE SHADOWS

CONCEPT

In the PRISON of Fleury-Mérogis, Jean Charles Doria obtained the exceptional authorisation to film, in their cells, some fundamentalists who claim to be from ISIS. He also used his camera in the exercise yard, where mentors scouted disciples, and followed the prayers with the official imam of the jail, who tries to put those inmates ready to listen on the right path. As for the guards, who also fight against conversion and radicalisation, they sometimes seem helpless in the face of the weight of persuasion of the prophets in the shadows.
